If you are a very frequent caller or send lots of texts then it is worth considering a mobile plan that will cover all of your calls and texts so there are no unpleasant surprises at the end of the month. If you are coming to the end of your mobile phone contract the SIM only deals offer you the option to keep your existing mobile phone and number and move over to a much cheaper plan or one that gives you many more texts and calls for your money. Whilst both are typically much cheaper than signing up to a standard mobile phone contract (one which provides you with a new handset as part of the offer), the 12 month plans offer better value for money in return for the longer commitment.

What about SIM only unlimited landline calls?

There are a number of contracts that offer SIM only with unlimited landline calls and minutes. There offers don’t always offer the same deal when calling other mobile networks but can be good for those who make lots of landline calls rather and less calls to mobiles. Unlimited landline deals are offered by most of the major UK networks with selected plans but this is not a standard feature so be sure to check the details of the individual deal before signing up.

What about deals with unlimited internet allowance and data included?

There are a range of SIM only contracts with unlimited internet usage included as part of the deal however some of these do have so called ‘fair usage’ caps so make sure you check exactly what you get when you sign up to these plans.
