SIM only provider aims new plans at BlackBerry users

A leading SIM only provider has decided to launch a range of new price plans, which it has said will be geared towards mobile users who have a BlackBerry phone.

It has been reported that a leading SIM only provider in the UK has released a range of new price plans that are aimed at those that own a BlackBerry phone by Research in Motion (RIM). The new plans have been launched by GiffGaff, which is owned by the communications giant O2.

GiffGaff customers who have a BlackBerry phone will be able to benefit from a number of features and a range of support for an additional £3 per month. This will include support for a range of BlackBerry services such as email and secure web access or the popular BBM instant messaging facility.

With the new plans BlackBerry users will be able to get a SIM only deal from GiffGaff and pay from just £8 per month. For this basic tariff users will be able to get sixty minutes and three hundred texts included in their plan. They will also be able to get all of the various services that are associated with BlackBerry phones.

For new customers to GiffGaff the BlackBerry services can be signed up to when the contract is initiated. However, those that are already customers with GiffGaff can choose an add on pack to activate these services. GiffGaff’s SIM only deals for the BlackBerry vary in price depending on what customers want from the plan.
