If you constantly need to stay connected, then you’re better off getting one of the Pay Monthly deals. This option gives you an set number of texts, minutes, and data every month, so you don’t need to worry about suddenly running out of credit when you need to send a message or make a call. However, if you don’t really use your phone as much, then Pay & Go should suit you fine.
With Pay & Go, you only need to top up as necessary when you need to use your O2 SIM. This is the option that’s best suited for those who don’t use their mobiles regularly.
With Pay Monthly, you can choose to put together your own plan, based on the contract length, which is either 1 month of 12 months, and data usage, which is either low, medium, or high. All of these SIM only packages come with unlimited texts and varied talk minutes to other networks and to other O2 numbers.
The network also offers another high value O2 SIM only tariff called On & On, which starts at £26. It comes with unlimited minutes and texts and 1GB of data, which means you can now surf the Internet to your heart’s content on your smartphones or tablets that are powered by O2 SIM cards. If you’re thinking of adding more data to your plan, then you can double it by adding an extra £5 per month.
